Congratulations to Zurich University of Applied Sciences for receiving the Best Paper Award at the 3rd Conference on Sustainable Banking & Finance CSBF 2025 at the University of Napoli Parthenope. Why we care
Biodiversity loss and water scarcity are accelerating, causing environmental degradation with lasting impacts on global health, food security, poverty, migration, and conflicts.
At the same time, ecosystem services are lost that are crucial as they support human well-being and sustainable development.
What we do
By analyzing spatial footprints and linking them to company locations, we evaluate ecosystems' capacity to sustain biodiversity and water resources.
Our goal is to monitor biodiversity losses and water risks caused by corporate activities globally, providing more objective and transparent assessments than traditional methods.
Where we come from
Funding by the BRIDGE Discovery research programme and DIZH enables collaboration with top experts to develop the scientific basis of our vision.

Being a team of highly motivated, interdisciplinary scientists, we are committed to scientifically assessing companies' impacts on environmental degradation using advanced Earth observation technology and geodata.
